Awards and Voting


Awards were given to the top two presentations chosen by the Executive Committee and the top three presentations overall, voted on by IAAP members.

First and Second Place Awards

The IAAP Executive Committee selected the following first place and second place winners: 

First Place: Lea Marie ZangerlWhenever, Wherever? The Optimal Level of Work Engagement for Recovery and the Role of Transformational Leadership. She received travel and registration costs covered for ICAP 2026 in Florence and a Young Board Observers seat at the BoD meeting in Florence.

Second Place: Erasmus Keli Swanzy - Transformational and Abusive Leaders and their Short and Long-Term Influence on Employee Physical Illbeing: A Multilevel Longitudinal Study of Exploring Motivational-Affective Mechanisms under Work and Work-Home Condition. He received registration costs for ICAP 2026 in Florence and a Young Board Observers seat at the BoD meeting in Florence.

Runner-Up Awards

The three winners who were selected by IAAP members, and received two years of free IAAP membership are: 

Debora Shambo-Rodriguez: Exploring Digital Interventions for Mental Health Support in Colombian Youth: A Mixed-Methods Feasibility Study.
